Superior’s Youth Council had the opportunity to travel to Washington DC on March 24, 2023 to attend the National League of Cities Congressional City Conference. While attending the conference, they were able to network with other Youth Councils and attend leadership workshops. Those in attendance at the Youth Council portion of the conference included Nathan Taylor, Patty Ann Taylor, Randi Nicole Villegas, Jasmin Ortega, Sonia Estatico, and Mayor, Mila Besich

The Youth Council is an important part of the Superior community and always available to assist in any way possible. They are responsible for Trunk or Treat in October and the community 4th of July event. They have also helped other organizations with community events including Miracle on Main St, the Apache Leap Mining Festival, VFW Cemetery cleanups, Senior Citizens holiday parties, and many more!
